Why this Blog?

Err...what? You are starting a blog in your 50s?

Well, not exactly. When I first started a so-called blog, it was 2001 in the free Geocities site (this later became oocities). This went on for some time and there is a long hiatus after 2006 as work and parenting duties (2 kids) started to take its toll. For those interested how an old blog looks like, here is the site (perhaps we can check again 10-20 years from today to confirm if this last for ever):

A Malaysian in Singapore

So yes, i started again in my 50s to provide advice to those coming after me so that they can learn and perhaps do something better than what I have done...hence the title "Paving the Wei", i.e. to make it easier for something to happen or for someone to do something.

Thanks again for visiting and I hope that you get as much from the blog as I have in writing it...
