Scripture: Isaiah 43: 18-19
A new season is coming...do we not perceive it?
If we do nothing, we will be forced into a new season because change is coming, whether we like it or not. It is not about doing nothing...we need to take active steps to prepare for the things that are coming so that we do not get left behind.
How can we step into God's season well?
1. Embrace the process
Process = a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.
Obviously, we need to be part of the process - just like the athlete or professional preparing for the meet. The problem is that we want to take the short cut, we want to skip the process and still get to the end...while it is normal to feel this, this does not work. God won't always to make a way out, but He will always make a way through for us.
When the Israelite are getting away from Egypt, all they did was complain but they did not see the great things that are coming - the manna, the quails, the fire, the cloud, the water from the rock. But God's plan is for His people to "worship me in the wilderness". They wanted the promise without going thru the process.

2. Face the problems
Exo 14:15 God chided Moses when they saw that the Egyptians are coming from behind, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff..." God is telling us to take actions. It is because we have been thru tough times that we grow to be better leader, a better husband, a better wife, a better person. God prunes us when He is about to take us into a new season of growth or expansion. Your greatest challenge is the greatest opportunity to encounter God
