Prayer for Students going for the Examinations

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for You are good and You love our children more than we can ever love them. Today, we commit our children taking the written exams into Your hands.

In Jesus's Name, we take authority over every examination venue right now and declare that no spirit of anxiety or fear or any other weapon formed against our children shall prosper. Instead, we speak a peace that surpasses understanding over every candidate. A peace that comes not based on how well prepared they are, but whose source is the love of God.

In Jesus's Name, we disarm all the attempts of the enemy to distract the students, and instead, we ask for the ability to concentrate and focus for the students for the entire duration of the papers.

As the students take the paper today, Holy Spirit may You help them to read the questions with understanding so that they can identify all the requirements. Bless them with clarity of thought and fluency so that they can piece together a coherent piece of work that fulfills all the requirements, and is convincing in argument and able to find favour in the marker's eyes.

In the name of Jesus, Amen.
